Week 23:2
After seeing a Speed dating poster up around town I thought it would be fun to give it ago. I convinced a couple of girls from work to join in by promising to bake them any cake of there choice. We made a contract so no one could bail at the last minute and we were ready to go... I didn't realise at this time that Lemon Meringue Pie is one of the hardest pies to make. To do this right I decided to make a practise pie. I am very glad I had help because I thought "Blind baking" was when you baked something without looking at it.
None of us ended up getting into Speed Dating but I still had to bake the pie and make up some ‘fake’ speed dating games - one included topics ranging from "How to dispose of dead bodies" to "The great Vince Vaughan/ Brad Pitt debate" and another involved stickers on your head and Flackie falling for his own trick.
