020 Enter a Triathlon

Week 9:3 March 4th

I entered the Lake Kaniere Triathlon (near Hokitika) as part of a work team called the ‘Cruisin Eddies’. This triathlon involved an 11km run, 7km kayak and a 20 km cycle. My part was the 11km run. After minimal training (a couple of runs the week before) I managed to pull in a really good time. Thanks to my great race strategy of running behind the girl with the best legs - She also happened to be a very quick runner. Also met a Donald Trump look-a-like who had just moved to Hokitika to race horses and he was trying to set me up with his daughter but that’s another story.

Comfort: Physical torture
